The Lavelle Fireroad an elegant aerodynamic wheel which fits your gravel bike. Wide, super strong rims allows wider tyres. The Fireroad is supplied with our S250CLASSIFIED Powershift and ultra low friction bearings. This allows to remove the front derraullier and improve system efficiency for a wide range.

The Fireroad CLASSIFIED adds the shifting integration to improve even more the capacity of the system to perform in challenging routes. Cleverly designed labyrinth seals offer water and grime protection.
Crafted carbon
Design optimised for a balance of stiffness, vibration absortion, weight and comfort.
The carbon Fireroad wheel and tooling is all designed by our in-house team.
Each wheel is individually hand crafted using top of the range carbon fibre materials.
This obsessive attention to detail results in a wheel which is super focused and lightening fast.
AERO
Featuring Concept-TW, our tyre/wheel design allows for wider tyres without any aero penalty by reducing the turbulence zone at the junction of the tyre and rim, saving watts where it matters most, the front-end of the bike.
The technical design of the carbon does not mean we ignore the aesthetics.
The carbon placement results in a beautiful, symmetrical pattern and the resin we use is also UV protected without varnish.
AESTHETICS
RIM WALL
An extra stiff thick wall rim was integrated, a detail overlooked by most manufacturers.
This feature increases dramatically the impact protection and reduces the tire sidewall puncture.
The wide rim allows wider tyres and provides major aero gains.
IN-HOUSE DESIGN AND BUILD
USING ENVIRONMENTALLY SUSTAINABLE PROCESSES
As a contribution to environmental sustainability we have developed an exceptionally low energy process that results in 1/6th of the energy consumption of industry standard carbon fibre manufacture.
We have developed a carbon manufacturing process that requires no harmful lacquers of varnishes.
Each wheel is hand built by our craftsman and individually signed off by quality control.
BEARINGS
We partenered with SKF to supply best in class bearings, selecting a configuration with 2,5x more efficiency than the standard steel 2RS.
Ceramic bearings were rejected as the hardened balls reduce efficiency over time and ceramic gains are not seen at such low rpms anyway.
The bearings are 2 times stronger than standard use bicycle bearings.
